Specialist insurer Shield Total Insurance wanted to generate new online leads and improve their digital conversion funnel. Through website optimisation and an extensive content marketing strategy, we helped them do exactly that.
Shield Total Insurance came to us because they want to acquire new caravan and motorhome insurance clients and improve their conversion of existing digital leads. Although their primary concern was digital marketing and distribution, we quickly identified that an improved website and content strategy were also required.
Starting with search engine marketing, we were able to immediately improve paid and organic performance. Having made these quick wins, we moved onto developing a new website that would build on these improvements and lay the foundations for a content strategy that encompassed paid and organic social media marketing.
As part of our ongoing content and digital engagement with Shield, we also built a caravan finder app to increase the stickiness of the site. Since we’ve worked with them, we have gained search engine rankings around caravan related topics and improved key performance indicators, such as a 20% fall in bounce rate and a 5% increase in the quote conversion rate.
